Sonic Rush 3: Sonic Colors (Nintendo DS, 2010) Review

Background and History After working on the Rush series, I guess Dimps was assigned to instead work on separate versions of Sega’s main console titles. This trend started with the Wii and PS2 versions of Unleashed, but this was the first handheld title developed by Dimps to share it’s name with the coinciding main console release. I’m going to preface this by saying that I will be reviewing this as a remaster. I reviewed the original game not so long ago, which you can read here . This review won’t take the form of my more traditional reviews where I separate gameplay, presentation, story, history, and so on into their own categories and will largely just be comparing this game to its original Wii counterpart - talking about what I think it does better, what it does worse, and how I feel about it as a remaster and modern port of, well, one of my favorite Sonic games and potentially one of my favorite games of all time.
